Travel/Outdoors
Taking advantage of our mountain setting and the expertise of our faculty, this track will introduce writers to opportunities in these genres, including sports, travel guides, and magazine writing. The workshops will be designed to help people find a means of livelihood in the writing profession.

Young Adult
This track is aimed at writers who wish to concentrate on young readers, providing an introduction to the field through workshops with two of the best in the YA field. Learn about craft and publishing trends. Discover how writers get into the brains and hearts of teenagers.

Poetry
Our newest track concentrates on poetry, including such topics as rhythm, meter, metrical patterns, rhyme, and forms. Beginners and experienced poets alike are welcome to study under out outstanding staff.
Creative Nonfiction
For both experienced writers and new writers, this track will provide professional support and specialized workshops. From memoirs to researched historicals, learn the dos, don’ts and better nots from our experienced staff.
Faculty for the Creative Nonfiction track
Fiction
This track is for both new and emerging writers who feel they are close to publication. You will learn the nuts and bolts of the profession, from cultivating ideas to making the sale. We will discuss everything from the craft — character, plot, voice, dialogue — to the business — how to find an agent and what to expect from your editor.
